Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These terms apply to bookings and services provided by Ashley May / The Frequency Retreat. By making a booking or purchasing a service, package, subscription or voucher, you agree to the terms that apply to that purchase together with your statutory consumer rights.

Appointments and bookings

Treatments and in-person services are by appointment only. Your appointment is reserved specifically for you. Please provide accurate contact information and tell Ashley about anything relevant to the suitability of your treatment or service.

Deposits and payment

A 50% deposit is payable in advance to secure an appointment unless different payment terms are stated for a particular service, package or subscription. The remaining balance is payable as agreed for that booking.

Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. For cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or where a client does not attend, the 50% deposit will normally be retained. This policy reflects the time reserved and preparation undertaken and will always operate subject to applicable consumer law and your statutory rights. If exceptional circumstances arise, please make contact as soon as possible.

Lateness

If you arrive late, the appointment may need to be shortened so that later commitments are not affected. The full booked fee may still apply. Please do not arrive significantly early unless asked, as appointments are private and individually prepared.

Consultations, contraindications and treatment suitability

Some services require a consultation and/or medical-check form before the appointment. You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. A disclosed contraindication does not always mean treatment cannot go ahead: it may sometimes be appropriate to adapt the treatment, avoid an area or choose another option. Ashley may postpone, adapt or decline a treatment where she reasonably considers this appropriate for safety or suitability. Where you have a medical concern, you may be asked to seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Massage preferences and consent

For massage, you will be asked about areas you do and do not want included. Treatment will be adapted to your preferences and suitability. You may ask for pressure, positioning or an area of treatment to be changed or stopped at any time.

Mind coaching

Mind coaching is a coaching and personal-development service. It is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychiatric care or medical treatment and is not a substitute for those services. A single session may be booked without committing to a programme. Where offered, a client may choose to upgrade to the three-session package after the first session by arranging this directly with Ashley.

Frequency and wellbeing services

Frequency-based services are provided for general wellbeing, relaxation, personal awareness and educational purposes. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease and do not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The separate Frequency & Wellbeing Disclaimer forms part of these terms.

Remote services

Where a service is provided remotely, you are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, device and private environment. Electronic reports, tones, music or other materials supplied as part of a service are for the client’s personal use unless otherwise stated.

Packages and subscriptions

The price, inclusions and billing arrangement for a package or subscription will be shown at the point of purchase or agreed before it begins. Any recurring service will state clearly how future billing can be cancelled. Where the Monthly Reset is offered as cancellable at any time, the applicable checkout terms will confirm how cancellation works.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are available. Any expiry date, service restriction or other condition will be shown on the voucher or at the point of purchase. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

Prices and changes

Current prices are shown on the website or confirmed when booking. Prices and service descriptions may change, but a confirmed booking will be honoured at the price agreed for that booking unless both parties agree otherwise.

Client conduct and right to refuse service

Ashley may stop or refuse a session where behaviour is abusive, threatening, sexual, unsafe or otherwise inappropriate. This does not affect any rights the client may have under consumer law.

Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or removes any statutory rights you have as a consumer. You remain responsible for seeking appropriate professional or medical advice for health concerns and for telling Ashley about information relevant to the service you are requesting.
